Here we have an absolute beautiful professionally restored vintage 1986 Yamaha YZ125. The advantage was that the rider compartment was narrower and it also lowered the bikes center of gravity)This is a Complete nut and bolt restoration. From frame up, frame was stripped and power coated YZ red. All new UFO reproduction plastics with factory radiator shrouds that were sanded and buffed. I do have all the factory originals as well.New Clark's fuel tank, and new Yamaha petcock. Engine was rebuilt with 1mm overbore Wossner piston, Pro X crankshaft and connecting rod. All new seals, bearings and gaskets. Complete engine was stripped vapor blasted and powder coated black.Rebuilt forks with new fluid and seals using stock fork springs. New red fork gators.Lower tubes were stripped, sanded and polishedRebuilt rear shock with Racetech seal head and bottom out rubber and fluid. Rear factory spring re-powdercoated red.Rebuilt swing arm and linkage with All Balls Racing bearings and seals. New RK racing chain.Factory rear sprocket, new JT racing front sprocket. Factory gearing 13/50Sonic cleaned radiators and repaint,Sonic cleaned carburetor with new gaskets.Boyesen power reeds were installed.All factory hardware was cleaned and polished then Re-Zinc coated back to factory colorRefinished factory rims with new stainless Buchannans spokes and nipples. New rim strips,tubes and beadlocks,New Dunlop MX34 tires.New Mika metals handlebars,Acerbis aluminum throttle. New cables, Venhil USA front brake lineRebuilt front brake caliper,rebuilt master cylinder. New EBC front brake pads,rear shoes.Refinished factory expansion chamber and silencer.New period correct Hi-Flite seat foam, med. density then wrapped in a new custom Hi-Flite seatcover with added gripper material in knee area.New levers etc, etc. this bike is very new and ready to rip another day !!!
