Description

For your consideration is a 1995 Wellcraft 46CMY Luxury Yacht.Large Spacious Live Aboard. Basically a 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Condo on the water. The actual length overall is 52 feet.1995 Wellcraft Marine Corp 4600 CMYSuggested Value :MSRP List Price: $380,345Current Low : $94,800Current Retail: $105,35Fresh water Yacht since new. Previously Docked at a private residence at Lake Erie in Ohio. Always winterized and wrapped. New home is now in Virginia since August of 2023currently on the hard and not in the water.  She's a beautiful vessel front to back. Her new name was to be christened "Seabiscuit"unfortunately this never happened. My Fiancée and I had plans to be married In Boston June of 2024. We were to sail from Va to Cape Cod and our wedding reception was to be held on Biscuit dockside.  We hired a broker out of Ft Lauderdale who hired a transport company out of Miami to move her from Lake Erie Ohio to Virginia. During the move the Transporters damaged Biscuit within 1 hour of the move clipping 2 underpasses and we soon learned the company didn't have the proper license, registration or insurance to operate. Nor did they pull the proper permits to move Biscuit and the Brokers were also Illegal. To add to the mess. The drivers had extensive criminal records and were arrested shortly after arriving in Virginia. So.. In the interim we're stuck out of pocket for the repairs until there's a settlement. Which for us at this time the cost isn't feasible. Our plans and dreams were wiped out by these low life deadbeats along with our Wedding. We're making the hard decision to sell our beautiful "Seabiscuit" at a substantial loss and move on.  "Biscuit" is currently in Portsmouth Virginia on the hard. She's still in the shipping configuration so the hard top and radar arch are properly stowed in the rear along with the Helm. The windscreen and seats along with the seat pads that belong to the flybridge are stowed in the Main Salon. This was all professionally performed before we left Ohio for Virginia. Biscuit is ready to be moved again in case the new buyer wanted to relocate elsewhere. Biscuit is currently at a repair facility and can be repaired where she's at in Virginia if desired or another repair person of your choosing that's close by. Biscuit can also be placed in the water at her current location. My mechanic is the person who dissembled the helm and components for shipping. If the new owner needs assistance. My personal mechanic may be available if needed. The brow on the windscreen was clipped by an underpass and damaged the gelcoat and fiberglass. (see pictures). So it would be more advantageous if you know a fiberglass and gelcoat person that can make the repair and save yourself thousands and not use a Marine Facility which is substantially higher. To give you an estimate of her current value. Biscuit initially was to be insured for $175,000. The Bank would loan over $100K. There's no Lien and Biscuit has a clear title and is currently registered in Va in our name. A little about the mechanical condition: Seabiscuit is equipped with twin 3208 Caterpillar Turbo Diesel Engines With only a mere 1200 Hours. The starboard engine was just serviced before we left for Virginia this past August. This included, oil, oil change new impeller for the water pump and all her strainers cleaned. Starboard engine does run. The port engine at the time needed a head gasket. New risers were installed on the port side at a cost of "$12,000" and a new head gasket kit ($500) was purchased. Head gasket kit for the port engine will go with the sale. The Port engine will need the heads removed and machined and head gaskets installed in order to function. She is due for Bottom Paint before going back in the water.Biscuit will need the aesthetic and mechanical repairs. But she can be placed in the water as soon as her bottom paint is freshened up. Then you can work on her in the water if desired ? Biscuit has several amenities you'd find in a larger 7 figure Yacht.  Jacuzzi tub, recessed accent lighting, huge salon that would allow 15 plus people comfortably. large full kitchen with fridge and large sub zero freezer, twin staterooms and twin heads and showers, Flybridge that can seat 8 to 10 people comfortably.  2nd Level under the hard top is accompanied by an additional fridge, sink, love seat bench and beautiful puck lighting to give it a handsome glow in the evening that can entertain at least 5 people. The Previous owner had a wedding party of 40 people on Biscuit.  She's quite accommodating.Biscuit is loaded with more than I could possibly list here. She's a big girl with the wow factor and all the bells and whistles. She's very handsome dockside. my apologies for not having the full list of options and amenities. It's extensive. Biscuit isn't some off brand Yacht. She was built by Wellcraft. The 46CMY had a run of 5 years from 1990 to 1995. Biscuit was one of the last Yachts Wellcraft produced. Our hearts are shattered. Seabiscuit was our retirement. We had many plans.. One was getting married, having our reception on The Biscuit in June of 2024 on Cape Cod and in the future take her around the Grand Loop. This was all taken away from us by low life criminal types posing as a legitimate business. My Fiancée and I hope Biscuit finds a new family that will relish her. Hopefully she'll find her way back to the open sea and carry on with new adventures and wonderful memories.Seabiscuit's Details:LOA 52'Beam -14' 6"Net Weight - 5 Wellcraft Marine Corp4600 CMY ValuesSuggested :MSRP List Price: $380,345Current Low : $94,800Current Retail: $105,35Thank you for your consideration. Email with questions.
