I communicated with Antonio Raya Pardo about this guitar (before his unfortunate death), and he confirmed that he built it in 1976. He also confirmed that the top was not of his making, that his had been replaced somewhere along the way by unknown luthier. The new top is nice quality cedar. The guitar sounds and plays great, but since it is only nominally/partly a Pardo, the price is very affordable. It has also been refinished, with a crack repair/spline in the back--see photo. The sound is very crisp and punchy like a good blanca--check out video for reference. The action is set at 3.7mm on the bass and 3.25 on the treble with a little room to lower. 660mm scale, 52mm nut. Comes with a gator case. This is a great guitar for the price.
