Madison's story
Madison is a timid girl that needs a patient forever home. She is very independent, but will enjoy some head pets here and there. Once in a home where she feels safe her true personality will come out. She was originally dropped off in a carrier at Delaware Humane with a note attached giving her name, age, and saying her owner couldnt care for her any longer. She was at the shelter for over a year and still wasnt getting adopted. She was placed in foster care where her foster mom loved her and tried so hard for her to become part of the family. Unfortunately, her foster mom had two other cats that Madison was very intimidated by. After a year of trying, Maddys foster mom didnt feel it was fair to Maddy to be separated and stressed out every time she would see the other cats so she brought her back. Maddy definitely needs to be the only cat in the house. She is a senior who would do best in a quite home with no small children. She is front declawed.
