My story
Hi, my name is Rusty Lou and I want to find my forever final loving home. My previous family had me since I was 6 wks. old and left me outside the last few years of my life, then my mom called NBRAN and said we feel he would be better with you than here left outside alone. They were too busy for me, I am sad by this, but I know there is a home with love just for me and to spoil me in my new beginning of life. I am a very good boy, housebroken, want to be your love bug and to be special to someone again. I am a 36 lb. 12 yr. old orange/white neutered handsome senior male. They had to pull 18 teeth and boy do I feel better. If you are interested in being my forever, please let them know and they will connect you with my Foster Mom. From Foster Mom: Rusty Lou finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. Even though he was very neglected, he is a sweet, affectionate boy who wants to love and be loved. He is a senior with arthritic hips, so we are keeping his weight down. He eats well now that his bad teeth have been removed. He has become more active as his health has improved. Rusty sometimes runs now and enjoys being outside. He likes to stand with his nose in the wind and the breeze blowing his ears. He's rather fastidious. He typically washes his front legs after getting a drink. He has never had an accident in the house. Rusty has a big bark but only uses it when someone new comes near the yard or house. He gets along with other dogs and every person he has met. Rusty deserves to have someone who will love and care for him in his last years. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit to complete an adoption application.
