Please meet Orion

　　better known among those who love him as ONION.

　　That funny name came about when the letter R was mistaken for an N on his rescue paperwork.

　　He became accustomed to being called Onion and, after his horrible beginnings, this puppy gets whatever makes him happy.

　　His was one of the most heartbreaking cases of neglect that we have seen.

　　His cruel original owner grew tired of him within just a couple of days and stuck him outside in a small cage with no food, water or shelter. When a concerned relative discovered him in pitiful condition, he was immediately taken to the vet clinic.

　　The little guy was so weak and malnourished that he was unable to stand..nothing more than a skeleton weighing 2 pounds. And, he was loaded with intestinal worms.

　　The vet didnt expect the poor puppy to survive the night, but this little fighter managed to pull through and kept on going.

　　Soon he was stealing the hearts of everyone at the clinic

　　After his excellent medical care, Onion is fully recovered (with no lingering health issues) and is living in a kind foster home receiving all the TLC that he deserves.

　　He is now 4 month old and weighs 17 pounds.

　　Breed-wise, we believe he is a Min Pin, possibly mixed with Rottie, but thats a best guess.

　　He has small feet and a high pitched bark so we dont believe hell grow to be a large dog.

　　Onion is a super sweet boy who love to give kisses.

　　His foster mom says he is a great morning wakeup-dog.

　　Just plop him next to whoever needs to get up and he will cover them in wet kisses!

　　He sleeps with his foster parents and is good as gold all night.

　　He uses pee pads and is coming along nicely with his house training.

　　He's crate trained, but can also be left free in the house with no issues - other than maybe finding the occasional piece of paper to chew on.

　　This happy fellow has a great disposition.

　　He comes when called, gets along fine with other dogs and loves to play with the cats.

　　He is also very good with his fosters grandkids (aged 7

　　11)

　　Hell make one wonderful addition to a loving family.

　　He's still a puppy so kids in his home should be over 5.
