Petey's story

　　Meet Petey (Pete for short)! He is estimated to be about 3 yo (we guesstimated a birthday of 9/20/2015 for him.) He is 48.8 pounds. He is a wonderful, playful, bouncy boy. He is happy energetic, loving, smiling boy and he wants to be with his people and be a big ol' lap dog! He needs some training as it appears he has had very little BUT he is eager to please and learn. He would love to have another fur friend to play with and a safe and secure yard to romp in. We are saying OLDER KIDS ONLY over 8 might be a best fit.. just due to his size and no training and he will knock a toddler down with his exuberance. This just in from his foster home/Pete... I wasnt shown a lot of love or attention in my previous home. Ive discovered that I REALLY love people and just want to be with them all the time. My foster parents have 3 other dogs and they have been really nice to me and I think I love them. I got a bath today and that was really fun too. They tell me I am a very smart dog all the time because I easily learn their silly tricks like sitting, staying, walking on leash, going on hikes. Whatever gets me a pat on the head, I say. After a morning hike I like to spend the afternoon lying on the couch with my foster mom and the other dogs. Oh, and Im looking for a permanent home.
