Rose's story

　　Hi! My name is Rose. I was found abandoned on a back road. I was cautious when these nice people were trying to help. I was scared because I didn't understand why my family would leave me out there to fend for myself. These new people offered me treats and I decided I should go with them. I jumped in their car because I had a feeling I would be safe. Well, I did feel safe. These nice people became my fosters. My foster mom tells me how awesome I am every day. I'll admit, I was pretty somber the first couple of days until I realized I was going to be taken care of. I even got a bath to get rid of all those itchy fleas. I was very good and stood still the whole time.

　　I am a happy dog now. I love playing in the yard! I love toys! I'm an older dog, so I don't need a lot of exercise, but I am happy to go on walks, hiking and playing in the yard. I am crate trained and house trained. I am very good around people. I was cautious at first, but now I love attention! I love to snuggle too! I love to go for car rides. I just sit in the back seat and look out the window! I love adventures!
