　　FORREST GUMP (aka TRIP) is ready for some fall fun! He is suited up for the Halloween festivities and ready to go. This cuddly lion loves treats and a good ear scratch. TRIP is a good boy when it is time to be bathed and brushed. He is very friendly and approaches happily with tail wagging and wants to sit right next to you. He loves to be petted, and will happily "shake" any time you ask him to - especially if a treat is involved! TRIP is a laid back dog and is content just to "hang out" in the air conditioning or outside when the weather is good. TRIP loves cats, and he gets along well with most other dogs. His best friend and long time companion, Darlin, was recently adopted so TRIP is ready to find his new loving home and a new best friend (2 legged and/or 4 legged) to keep him company. TRIP is great around children and would make a very lovable and grateful member of your family. TRIP is a male German Shepherd Dog / Chow Chow mix and is approximately 6.5 years old (Sept. 2013). He is a large dog and weighs about 75 pounds. TRIP is listed as special needs because he only has three legs. For no fault of their own, TRIP and his companion Darlin were returned/surrendered to ARF because their owner could no longer care for them. Initially, TRIP was a little uncertain about his new temporary home at the ARFanage. Within a short period of time, TRIP opened up and is thoroughly enjoying all the attention from his new caretakers.
