Smiley *WAIVED FEE*'s story

　　*Smiley is not adjusting well to being back in the shelter environment and needs a foster home! He is very stressed and has been doing better in a separate room, but would still prefer a home environment!*

　　Meet Smiley! Smiley is around 3-years-old, currently weighs 57lbs and was originally transferred from a high-volume shelter after being found as a stray, then brought to us through another shelter partner. He has the silliest smile when you greet him in his kennel and shows you how happy he is by wiggling his whole body at you! He gets along with other dogs (though may do best as an only dog), however we're not yet sure how he is with kids. He could be ok with cats if they are dog-savvy (please ask for more info)! As we get to know him, we will let you know. Spend time with Smiley today!

　　Smiley is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He deserves a home without further delay, so his adoption fee has been waived as a thank you from DHA alumni Belle, who was recently found safe and sound with the help of DHA staff and volunteers.

　　He is available for adoption or foster, with the intention to adopt (aka a trial period only offered to select long-term fur kids or medical cases). He has been waiting 202 days as of 8/15/18 and more before that in another shelter. If Smiley sounds like someone you'd like to get to know, come spend time with him today!
