My story

　　Sweet little Sophie was adopted in New Mexico in April 2019 and returned in August 2019. She is now 10 months old! Dad was working multiple jobs, mom had a heart problem, and daughter was sick, too. Couldn't take care of a puppy. Returned to the Animal Shelter in Clovis from which she had been adopted. With the help of rescuers in Lubbock, Sophie was pulled from the shelter in New Mexico, moved to Amarillo, and flown to Colorado, all within three days. Sophie is a trooper and arrived in Colorado Springs still sweet and happy. She is DEAF. But she's happy and playful. Loves kids. Slow to warm up to other dogs, but, with treats and patience, she will become fast friends. Sophie needs training. Although she is house trained and crate trained, she needs to learn manners and sign language to make her the perfect dog. She is SOOOOO cute and will probably remain small.
