TREMENDOUS OPPORTUNITY Ocean Cruiser - HOME ON THE WATER...
Jun 2, 2024
Description

Compare to Sister-ships of the same model priced on Yachtworld and Boat Trader for between $24,000 to $35,000 which is the blue book price for these amazing and luxurious ocean cruisers.Insanely low starting bid price. This vessel will have a new owner by this time next week. Don't miss out on an opportunity to acquire this gorgeous vessel at a tiny tiny fraction of its fair market value. As you see in the photos. Call with any questions

Sold As Is. This amazing yacht was for sale for 28K prior to taking on some water at the dock due to a leaking hose connection and bilge pump left off. The water went over the motors. This means the motors need some servicing at a minimum and possibly need replacement, if you want inboard motors. Fortunately the working mechanicals are the same as in many common older Ford cars from the 80s you can get super cheap at Ebay auction for 500 or 1000 as parts cars w/ good engines. The only thing that makes a Mercruiser  engine different from its car engine cousin is the cooling system. But this is easily changed out because exhaust hoses don't really get damaged by submersion. That's if you want fully functional cruiser with working inboards. You could also mount a strong stainless outboard motor bracket & set up this with outboard motor to go 8-10 knots instead of 15-18. You can put an outboard motor or two on the back and have this boat ready to begin using it at slower trawling speeds in only a matter of hours. Cheap outboard motors are available on Marketplace and Ebay.Located in the Beautiful Waters of the Chesapeake Bay just outside Annapolis, Maryland and only a 40 minute drive from downtown Washington DC. What a beautiful way to come and spend time on the water for weekends away from Washington D.C. or come down from New York or Baltimore. This area is some of the finest protected cruising on the entire U.S. east coast with incredible waterfront dining, excellent fishing and crabbing, festivals and so many amazing little art towns to visit by water within a single afternoon's cruising distance. It is one of the most fantastic inland bays in the world and if you wish to go further just cruise south and you arrive at Newport, Virginia, Virginia Beach and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

  Condition is as you

see in the photos.Do a search for "Carver 32 Mariner Brochure" and you can find the original brochures from 1987 plus tons of info on sister-ships and owner's reviews and all sorts of information about why these are considered some of the finest cruising vessels that Carver ever made.

  This is your

opportunity to invest some elbow grease on fixing or replacing the motors and acquire an incredible yacht with room for the entire

family and a beautiful interior and legendary Carver quality

construction for a tiny fraction of its actual value. but with a few weekends of work you can save well

over 10 or 20K on your purchase price.

  This is a no reserve

auction with a crazy cheap opening bid price. Payment is due in full within 24 hours. No exceptions. Boat is located at a slip at a very affordable local marina and may stay where it is if you want to keep it there.  The boat will need some vacuuming and scrubbing and either adding an outboard motor or servicing the inboards, but then you will have an amazing residence on the water. There are a couple of tears in the vinyl plastic windows of the enclosed blue canvas pilot house and the mechanical damage to the motors from being swamped, but other than those issues vessel is in very good condition with a beautiful hull and solid decks and luxurious pilothouse and nice interior.  One of the 2'x4' engine covers is missing and you can make a new one with a 2'x4' piece of marine plywood and gloss white paint. You may access the vessel for boat tours if you wish to inspect it prior to placing your bid. If you wish to do that please call me to make arrangements.   Your bid is a legally binding contract to purchase this fine project vessel in AS IS/WHERE IS condition. Please call to ask any questions you may have prior to placing your bid.

  This is a cash sale

auction just like you would get to participate in if you were a car

dealer buying cars at wholesale auction prices and the dealers only

  auto auctions.

  You can call me for

information and I will tell you everything I know, but I am a boat re-seller and I have not

personally used the boat, although I took the photos and I have given it a basic inspection. Comes with a clear title. Vessel has no hull damage

and solid decks. But since we

do not know a whole lot about it, it is sold AS IS at bargain

  basement auction price.

Call me if you wish to tour it.

If you are bidding based on photos be aware that your

bid is a legally binding contract to purchase this vessel at cash

auction price. High bid wins the auction. You must call me to discuss

the details of the transaction right after the auction closes.

Payment is due in full within 24 hours by check or cashier’s check

depositing into our business account at Wells Fargo with a counter

receipt from the teller as your proof of payment or else you may pay

with Bank to Bank wire transfer. Call if you have any questions. 970

There are lots of amazing places to visit by water in the Chesapeake Bay and Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington DC area. If you are not familiar with the

area give me a call and I can give you plenty of info on your options

in the area. You may also have one of the local marinas load it onto a boat trailer

or flatbed trailer for you, but you will need to bring your own

trailer with you. Boat sale does not include a trailer.

  Incredible

opportunity vessel! Don’t let this one get away! Terms

of the Auction – Read This

  Half

Price Yachts conducts occasional auctions for incredible value

vessels whose previous owners have agreed to make them available at

fire sale auction prices. This vessel is in our auction program. The

highest bid will win the boat. However, much like with a “Dealer’s

Only Wholesale Car Auction” this is a buyers privilege to have

access to such a quality vessel for pennies on the dollar. Like a

wholesale dealers car auction bidders must agree to participate

according to the terms of the auction. If you try to bid on the

auction but your Ebay account does not meet the bidding criteria, then

your bid may likely be canceled

and the high bid will revert to the next qualified bidder below you.

If your account does not qualify to bid, then call the number above and

identify yourself and you can get qualified to bid and your bids will

not be blocked. Here are the terms of the auction: Read This Prior to Bidding

  1.

Payment must be made in full within 24 hours after the end of the

  auction.

  2.

If you are the high bidder at the end of the auction you must

  immediately call

to verify who you are and to discuss

the details of completing the transaction, including your preferred

  payment method etc.

  3.

Bidding is only available to Ebay users who have more than 10

feedbacks within the past 12 months and a 100% feedback score. If

your account does not meet these criteria you must call

before placing your bid and identify who you are and explain why you

should be allowed to bid even though your Ebay account does not meet

  the bidding criteria.

  4.

If a vessel inspection is necessary for you to feel confident in

committing to pay for the vessel, that inspection needs to occur

prior to the end of the auction. You may inspect the vessel prior to

the close of the auction, or even have it surveyed, but once you bid

you are committing to a legally binding contract to purchase the

vessel in AS IS, WHERE IS CONDITION for the amount of your placed

bid. Understand that this vessel, like most used boats likely has a

number of systems to be tested and or repaired. You are paying a

price at auction which reflects the current condition of the vessel

along with the unknown factors. If

this were a full priced vessel listed at full blue book value, then

you might expect everything to already be tested and working, but

again, like a wholesale dealer car auction, you the buyer are

responsible for repairing any mechanical or systems deficiencies that

you encounter after the purchase. The auction price of the vessel

will be a more than fair price reflecting a built in discount with

more than enough savings to compensate for your time energy and spare

  parts to remedy any issues.

  If

you have any questions you wish to resolve prior to placing a bid

  please call . -Will

I will be happy to tell you whatever

  I know.

  Payment

  methods accepted:

  1.

  Zelle online payment system

  2.

A Cashiers Check or Personal Check deposited at the counter at any

Wells Fargo Bank Branch, with a teller issued deposit receipt for

  your proof of payment

  3.

  Bank to Bank Wire Transfer

  4.

Cash in hand at the vessel, so long as transaction is completed

  within 24 hours.

  Please

  Note,

Do not bid more than you have on hand to spend. And please

consult your spouse or boating/sailing partner(s) prior to committing to making

a purchase. If you need to transfer funds, do it prior to the close

of the auction so that your funds are accessible to you to make the

payment within 24 hours after the close of the auction. Standard
