My story
My full name is Sargent, but you can call me Sarge. My Foster Mom says I am the most laid back and quiet dog she has ever fostered. I am a neutered 5 yr. Orange/White Brittany/Cocker mix male. I love people, kids, cats and dogs. My favorite treat is a piece of frozen popsicle. My Foster Dad eats them, and I just love them. I dont bite and I am not greedy with food. I only chew on my bones or my toys, I dont bother my Foster Moms stuff. I walk very well on a leash. I am a low-level energy dog and since my heart worms seem to be gone, I have more energy to play with my foster family. I have 7 other dogs that I am living with. They have taught me a lot. I also have 4 horses and 4 cats. The cats dont bother me. I like to bark at the horses. I am fully house broken and does not even mark the house. I am a lover. I sleep at night in the bed with my Foster Mom & Dad. Sometimes it gets to crowded so I go to the floor. I behave very well, and I have no vices. I do bark at strangers because thats my job, but once I get to know people, I am ok with strangers. I even love everyone at the vet office. I like sleeping on the couch and sometimes a nice cool floor. Its hot in Texas. I also like to be brushed and want lots of cuddles. My Foster Mom thinks I would do very well with a family, older children that know how to treat a pet. I would like a playmate to play and run with. I am just learning tug a war and that is really fun. I am looking for kindness, as I didnt have that until NBRAN took me and put me with my wonderful Foster Mom and Dad. I learnt so much. Kindness, love and gentleness. So, if you have a kind heart and want a sweet loving boy, I promise I will not disappoint you. Medical: I was turned over to NBRAN from my previous dad with a fractured leg. My leg has healed well, and x-rays are good, and I have no problems with my leg. I had heartworms and have gone through heartworm treatment and have had my first negative test. I am so excited because now I am ready for my forever home. I am utd on all vaccines, on hw prevention, along with flea and tick. My doctor has given me a clean bill of health.
