We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading, niche manufacturing business. Here at Futures, we are looking for a Health Safety and Environmental Manager due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
Key responsibilities;
Maintaining a high level of knowledge and expertise in all areas of Compliance in order to provide appropriate advice and support.
Providing managers and employees with information on legislative and corporate compliance, advising on ways of meeting statutory requirements and Corporate HS& Safety Policies, HSE guidance and codes of practice
To ensure that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are met
Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture
Conduct monthly safety audits, behavioural observations and quarterly safety inspections
Successful Health Safety and Environmental will be;
Previous experience of working within a Manufacturing/Engineering/FMCG environment
NEBOSH Diploma is essential
Excellent organisational skills
Strong Admin skills
Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
