A clean example of Fender's benchmark USA Standard Strat from 2014 in extremely good condition and weighing in at 7.9lbs (3.6kg). This year the Standard was upgraded to include factory fitted Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups and aged plastic parts.

It has a newer USA Standard neck with a 2016 serial number which was supplied by Fender under warranty to replace the original one which was found to have a defect. The replacement neck has an identical spec - just two years newer. 'Modern C' profile, 22 medium jumbo frets, rosewood board with a 9.5" radius, rolled edges and satin finish. 60th Anniversary neckplate. The tuners have been upgraded to USA-made Sperzel locking ones.

Originally in Ocean Blue metallic thick polyurethane finish, the body has been professionally stripped and refinished in Sonic Blue nitrocellulose by Guitarlodge in Felixtowe. It's virtually unmarked at present - just one or two small dings plus the beginnings of some buckle rash on the back - but will relic gracefully with age if you want it to.

It comes with its plush lined hard case with keys, a classic Fender strap, assorted tags and candy and also all the paperwork and bills documenting its original sale, servicing and all the work described above.
