Interim Transition Manager

We are seeking an Interim Transition Manager to lead the Modes Users Association team through an exciting process of change and development, to deliver a new generation of Modes software and to achieve our strategic aims. Key areas of work will change over time, and we will expect the Transition Manager to be able respond to these.

Initial areas of priority will include:

Review and develop current business processes to support effective running of the business Support process of retirement and succession of long-term Services Manager Maintain and develop relationships with partners and stakeholders Review Articles of Association Review and develop MUA relationship and offer to its members Facilitate user engagement with development of next generation of Modes products Oversee development of new Modes products, working with Software Development Working Group Working with our Services Manager to support the legacy of current Modes products What you'll bring

The role will suit a candidate who has at least 5 years' experience at a senior management level in a small business, third sector or membership organisation or equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate strong financial acumen and business management skills and evidence success in developing, managing, and growing a business. Experience in the museums/heritage sector and experience of the IT sector or systems would be an advantage. Experience of commissioning or managing IT services would be an advantage.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

Experience of working with boards of directors or trustees and knowledge of not-for-profit governance structures. An ability to adapt to a changing environment and think strategically. Ability and experience in managing and motivating a team, especially through periods of change. Strong personal time management and ability to delegate effectively. How to apply:
