As a Mechanical Fitter at BAE Systems, you'll be play a key role in assembling, installing, and maintaining the mechanical systems that power and support the Type 26 Frigate.

From engines, gearboxes, and weapon propulsion systems to pumps, hydraulics, refrigeration units, radar, and pipework systems - you'll be the one making sure it all works together seamlessly. Quality control is second nature to you, as you make sure that all installations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

You'll also support with maintaining and repairing operational ships, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting to keep everything shipshape.
