We are on the lookout for a Merchandiser to join our well-established client based in Banbury. This is a permanent position, and the salary is ?23,000 to ?25,000 per annum. This role will be working Monday to Friday with no weekends. It is the companies aim to be a total carbon neutral company ensuring all their products and packaging are 100% recyclable. About the role: As a Merchandiser, you are responsible for: . Order Processing: o Check any pricing discrepancies with the Account Manager before processing the order. o Check and confirm product supply and availability highlighting any delays or shortages as well as communicating the reasons behind these. o Running order to forecast comparisons and highlighted any differences. o Raising orders via a stock management system for fulfilment communicating any special-order requirements. o Follow up on order status ensuring deliveries are leaving on time Ensuring EDI orders are transmitting properly and resolving any issues by working with customer EDI/IT team Provide shipment tracking and PODs upon request Manage customer portal requirements: tracking, ASNs, etc Communicating changes in stock availability and product ETAs with the sales team and merchandising contacts Complete order book updates for your account set detailing booking slot information, short shipments etc Proactive communication with Sales and the Customer on any product delays/issues I am interested in speaking to anyone who is proficient in Microsoft Excel and has strong communication skills.
