You'll spend time with the team understanding the process and equipment before taking responsibility for your section, where you'll play a role in developing planned preventative maintenance plans, ongoing optimisation projects and working with colleagues to ensure production continues at the correct quality and volume.

This is what you'll be doing:

Carry out maintenance activities yourself, as well as coordinate the activities of suppliers, contractors and OEMsProviding both a pro-active and reactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.Implementing and adjusting the PPM schedule utilising Root Cause Analysis techniques to identify trends to improve machinery OEE.PLC fault finding and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs The experience you'll bring to the team:

Mechanical and Electrical Skills: You should have hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and a knowledge of electrical sufficient to carry out first line fault findingAbility to work independently and as part of a wider project team.Apprentice trained in either a Mechanical or Electrical manufacturing role.Knowledge of FMCG/Packaging equipment and knowledge of their maintenance.
