Very Rare Noble M12 GTO 3R 2004 - Registration Number M12 NBL - Azure Blue Metallic with Cream Leather Interior

An opportunity to buy a VERY RARE Noble M12 GTO 3R with personal number plate M12 NBL.

It is in the widely regarded best colour of Azure Blue Metallic, paired with cream leather interior (which is even more rare!).

I purchased the M12 NBL number plate, which had been fitted to one of the original M12 GTO 3R cars used in the Noble brochure and publicity photographs! (the original car registration was AY04 SZZ)

The Noble M12 GTO 3R is stated as being the best version of the M12 to own, due to its balanced mix of visceral performance, comfort, and style enhancements. It is aimed at the advanced and discerning owner who seeks even more performance and handling matched to a refined interior that features extra soundproofing and leather – 'a true supercar'.

Jeremy Clarkson reviewed the M12 GTO 3R in the Sunday Times on 28/09/03, stating:

“This doesn't accelerate when you press the pedal. It explodes...............your eyeballs are fastened to the back of your skull and your left kidney has come off”.

3.0 litre V6 with Getrag-Ford 6 speed manual gearbox and Quaife automatic torque biasing limited slip differential.

Momo 3 spoke reach adjustable steering wheel, air conditioning, starter button, turbo boost gauge, alarm/immobiliser, Tracker Monitor installed. Standard seat belts and race harnesses.

Updated Sony stereo installed with radio/CD and USB, with steering wheel mounted remote control.

This M12 GTO 3R is in excellent overall condition, having had only 3 owners since first registration in July 2004.

The only exterior modification has been the addition of the carbon front splitter.

All servicing has been completed by Noble service centres. I have always used Jetstream Motorsport (Bruntingthorpe) Ltd, who are the absolute experts in the Noble M12. All paperwork will be supplied with the car. I will also include a large NOBLE sign which I purchased for the wall of our garage.

Tyres fitted (all have lots of tread):

Front – Bridgestone Potenza RE 040

Rears – Dunlop Sport Maxx

Only driven on the roads by myself and the previous owner (not tracked), running exclusively on 'super-unleaded', and always garaged.

Official performance figures:

0 – 60 = 3.7 seconds

0 – 100 = 9.0 seconds

Top speed = 170mph

Power = 352 BHP at 6,200 rpm

Power to weight ratio = 326 BHP/tonne

Max torque = 350 lb/ft or 475 N-m at 5,000 rpm

However, after the Reman turbos were fitted in 2013, the car was tested, with the following figures:

Power = 368.8 BHP at 6,035 rpm

Max torque = 403.3 lb/ft at 3,805 rpm

Consequently, the car is quicker than the original specification.

Most Noble M12's have a black leather interior. It is VERY rare to find one with cream leather, which makes for a much more classy and pleasant interior.

According to carlogbook dot co dot uk, there are only 76 Noble M12's left in the UK with an MOT, of which only ELEVEN are M12 GTO 3R's!
