Job Role: Payroll Manager

Salary: 35k- 45k

My client based in Loughborough are currently on the look out for an experienced Payroll Controller to join their team on a full time basis

Responsibilities

. The production of accurate and timely in-house payroll

. Extracting a number of client monthly payrolls from excel into Sage

. Deducting tax and national insurance contributions

. Processing holiday, SSP, SMP, SPP and expenses

. P45, P11D, P60 and year end responsibilities

. Actioning pension plans

. Query resolution

. Payroll Journal processing

Requirements

. Experience managing a team in a high volume environment

. Significant exposure to a fast-paced payroll environment including Payroll Advisory knowledge

. Sound knowledge of payroll/pension statutory requirements

. Extensive working knowledge of payroll systems and HR payroll applications

. Experience in analysis of data and production of meaningful reports

. Experience in interfaces and automation of data & input/upload.

. Provide support to all audit processes, maintaining legal compliance

. Experience of pensions to include auto-enrolment

. Experience working in a team where they have needed to delegate and prioritise activities

Must have experience in the above field to be considered for this role
