The brand Stonetail's aim is to provide the best quality with incredible attention to detail. These parka coats are simply stunning. The fabric used is the heavy cotton sateen wind resistant material as per original 1st Gen M-1951 parka's. The cotton sateen fabric has been exclusively produced for us. It is a beautiful fabric that we have also had Teflon treated. The weight and quality of cotton sateen is superior to the later mass produced cotton twill / poplin fabric used on 2nd Gen M51 parka's and later for the M65 fishtail parka. The teflon treatment will not only protect the parka coat from stains, it also ensures the fishtail parka is excellent at repelling water.
