This is a beautiful S. Garber Chicago, full-length, beaver fur coat.The size tag is missing but I'd call it a small around a size 4.I'm 5ft 7in, 135 lbs. I'm usually a medium (or size 6) in coats. It's a bit of a tight fit in the shoulders for me and the arms are too short, so that's why I'm calling it a 4.I found this coat in my apartment. I'm sure it was abandoned on accident as it is clear to me that this coat has been properly maintaned and oiled over the years. No visible seem rips or holes. The fur is still very shiny and the under coat (of the beaver fur) is still as soft as it should be. I'm guessing the coat is between 8 and 12 years old but I'm not an expert.I have made some calls and I know their are furriers in Kansas City who can re-cut and re-style old fur coats into anything you like. This coat is full-length so there would be a lot to work with.If you have any questions I will try to answer them. I hope it finds a good home!
