Description

This is a 1967 Triumph T100C (Tiger Competition) which is the United States specification with a single carbohydrate, high level exhausts on left, 2 gallon tank no rack to 66 scheme, polished alloy mudguards, off roadway devices & & Lucas 679 rear light. The 1967 model was most kept in mind for the new stronger, lighter and lower frame featuring increased rake and with significantly improved support at the headstock and swinging arm. The frame design is stemmed from the effective 1966 Daytona Winning equipments. Percy Tait, a previous professional motorcycle roadway racer and senior roadway tester for Triumph motorbikes who clocked over a million miles of roadway testing, had a comparable bike which is now in the National Motorcycle Museum in the UK.

  The Good:.

Clean NJ Title. Matching numbers, primarily initial or changed with matching parts, its runs wonderful and does not have any apparent issues, all of the chrome is A+ and there is little to NO rust on the bike nearly anywhere. All of the positive chassis premises have been re-wired. The compression per cylinder is 150lbs. New battery, new plugs, new tires, more recent condensers with electronic Boyer ignition. The rear brakes are excellent. New kick lever and rubbers. The tank has been internally coated to avoid rust. Single kick bike ... Rideable nearly anywhere locally, faster than exactly what you would think for a 500cc. Included original eye-brow tank badges (not in pictures). Added tank pads (not in images). Replaced rear break light switch for foot break.

  What Needs Improvement:.

A couple brackets could be powder covered. There is a couple chips in the paint job. The initial bike color was blue however I such as the red/black scheme far better anyway. Carbohydrate probably requires some modification where the throttle cable links but there is a adjustable tensioner to set still and etc. The front brakes work however not in addition to the back. Might use a kick lever spring, spring is weak, will not return when begun.

This bike is definitely ridable; particularly to regional occasions. I had the bike out several times this season for fast zips to chatterbox or crawfish fest or pals homes. Note that the shift lever is on the best side of the bike unlike the present standard. There is a quite cool gear indicator on the gearbox likewise which is completely practical. The bike has both a kick stand and the initial center stand. The seat was recovered eventually and is in terrific condition. I've got polaroid's of the initial bike from the very early 70's.

Relating to the pricing. I will think about affordable offers but will not part with this bike to low-ballers/flippers. This is the best bike for somebody and you will know who you are. Others need not respond. If it does not find a home then I'll keep her and figure out the market. Thank you. Wishing to discover a Triumph lover.
