Up for auction is a 1968 Ernst Heinrich Roth 4/4 violin Stradivarius 1700 model.The violin is in very good condition without any cracks or structural defects. It also looks to be the original bridge and set up on the violin. There are a few surface knicks here and there but everything is intact as it should be. A standard case will be included. Please review all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. The violin plays very nice. Consistent power in all registers with very nice color for all players including advanced players. Excellent range. Exceptional high end as Roth violins are known for. New strings are needed with the buyers choice of brand and type. Fingerboard is clean and set well. Nice low action. No buzzing. All violins may need adjusted to the player so please let that be known. I will ship with bridge in position and sound post up and in place with string tension loosened. Sound posts are vital to the sound and tonal quality. If the sound post comes down please have it set with a luthier present in making the needed adjustments.
