　　The manual-equipped Cabriolet version of the Porsche 911 Carrera (993) debuted for the 1994 model year. These sports cars were powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine that developed 268hp. This engine was improved from the 1996 model year, now featuring an output of 281hp. Drive from the engine was sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. A rare option known as the X51 was available on the Carrera, which included a larger and more powerful 3.8L flat-six. Production of the Manual-equipped Porsche 911 Carrera (993) Cabriolet ended in 1998.
