I have 2 steins that are wonderful examples of classic German Steins that are in excellent condition.. One stamped with "Western Germany" "#9" Hand painted with the phrase "Lieb und Leid mein froh Gemut" which translates to "Joy and Sorrow My Joyful Sorrow". The other stamped "Made in Germany - GERZ" "Handgemalt (Hand Painted) 5" "Siet (since)1862" and the phrase "des gastes spar ein volles gals" which translates to "The guest saving a full glass" They both have pewter lids circa 1950 and hand carved handles. $80 for the pair OBO - If interested please email or call Rob @ (860)
