My story

　　This adorable puppy is Tucker and he is 11 months old. He is a male mixed breed dog who has some Boxer in him. Tucker is very loyal and very affectionate. He is so smart and he likes to be told “Good Boy”. He loves to learn new things and learned sit so fast. He is ready to continue his basic puppy training and gentle socializing with new people. Tucker is very sensitive to new situations and needs you to show him he is safe. He is generally friendly and wants to meet new people. If the new person scares him, he may need a moment and some treats to help him understand he can say hi. Tucker seems to worry he is going to be mistreated. He deserves a gentle, sweet home with someone who will give him lots of love and devotion. Tucker likes to play with other dogs here at the shelter. If you have another dog at home, you can bring them by the shelter during our animal viewing hours to see if they are a good match. Tucker is also gaining weight very well. He was so thin and malnourished when he was found. He is a medium sized dog right now. As he gets better nutrition, he may grow some more. If you have a big heart and time to help Tucker feel loved and safe, come on by the shelter to meet him. We absolutely adore him and he has bonded to all of us so well.
