Appaloosa - Diamond - Medium - Young - Male - Horse

　　Diamond arrived at DHR in May, 2012 with severe injuries to his face due to a halter being left on him since he was a foal. The halter was removed just prior to him being turned over to DHR and left a significant wound. He has since had reconstructive surgery to his lower jaw and is expected to make a full recovery, however he will have some scarring. Diamond is incredibly friendly and responsive to all of the volunteers at DHR, despite his rough start in life. With is outgoing personality and love for attention we expect him to be very easy to train under saddle when the time comes. Diamond deserves a special home where he will receive lots of love and attention.
