Dany and Fiona are bonded dogs. They are sweet girls and well-behaved. We are very sorry to have to rehome them, but they are not doing well with our baby. They need a child-free home with parents who have time to love them.

Known commands – sit, come (responds to whistling), stay, “out of the kitchen”, “go lie down”. Responds very well to the “tss” noise that Cesar Milan makes on the show “Dog Whisperer”. The “tss” noise stops her from doing something you don’t want them to do.

They both get along with smaller dogs. They both do well on leash but require harnesses, they slip collars.

Daenerys (Dany)

9 years old, 10 Pounds, Chihuahua-Terrier Mix, Female, Spayed, Housebroken

Dany is a stereotypical lap dog. She loves to cuddle. She works well as an alarm system; she will let you know when you have a visitor, but other than that, she does not bark. The best way to get her to stop barking at a visitor is to say, “Thank you, now go lie down.”

Fiona

8 years old, 55 pounds, Red hound mix, Female, Spayed, Housebroken

Fiona loves belly rubs, sunbathing, chasing squirrels, and cuddling under blankets. She was abused as a puppy and is still very skittish. She needs a safe place to hide in the home when a loud noise scares her, a kennel or a closet with a comfy bed works. She has IBD as a result of the abuse as a puppy and can only eat prescription low-fat food and low-fat treats. Fiona is very good at ringing a bell at the door to let you know when she needs to go out.
