There are no heavy signs of usage, no marks or scratches. The wick being used is almost the only sign of any usage at all. Original price for heater was $130. The kerosene containers were purchased separately ($12-$15 each).This model does a fine JOB of heating, and is powerful enough to heat a small home. This is an excellent price for a nearly new kerosene heater. It is incredibly simple to operate. All controls are clearly listed (see photos), and close together. One very nice feature is push button ignition, which is powered by 2 common C-cell batteries. Simply push button to ignite, and adjust the height of the wick to control the heat output. After the surrounding area has reached a comfortable temperature, simply lower the height of the wick to lessen the heat output. There is a built in safety switch to shut off the heater if it is accidentally tipped. The heater sits on a "spill pan" to catch any leakage that might happen when refilling. The metal wire cage provides safety and prevents accidentally coming to close to the bare metal of the heater walls. When turning off, simply press the off-lever down, and the unit lowers the wick height and extinguishes the flame.This heater is nearly new. It was only used for 2 weeks. This was purchased for a friend that had no heat in their home in January. I only asked that they return it when no longer needed. This particular model is built to last.
