Elk hunters last chance for some bull and cow Tags for the 2011 Colorado elk season. I have some space in DIY, Semi-guided, and Guided hunts in great locations on private and public land. Because of the August 9 leftover availability this is the time to decide and book, and then if you don't draw your booked deposit can be moved to a different hunt or refunded. We also have Mule Deer hunts in some of the prime during the combination season. We have some great guided muzzleloader hunts with prices reduced for the elk cow muzzleloader. Most hunts are price reduced by removing the lodging and meals but keeping in what the hunter wants a good guide on private property with a high density of elk. You can't find that on public land, look at the stats the success rate on public land elk hunting is around 10%. On private land or guided hunts we go all the way up to a unbelievable 97% success rate. Don't believe it and call me later when the outfitters are booked or the tags are not available anymore. I currently have a few seats left and tags left with an outfitter that last year totaled 119 bulls and cows taken with a 97% hunter success rate.
