My story
Frida will color your world!Hola! My name is Frida. Just like my creative namesake, I’m sure to brighten your day! I’m snuggly, sweet, and my pawsonality always shines. I’m a 7-month-old, 36-pound Shepherd mix. I’m not spayed yet, but it’s already on my calendar. Sometimes I limp a little, so the vet is keeping an eye on it. As far as anyone can tell I’m as healthy as can be! I was recently rescued from Tijuana and have been living my best life in the states. Now all I need is a loving furever home to call my own!I’m a super friendly girl who adores everyone (yes, literally everyone). Cats, kids, dogs… you name it! I’m a social butterfly who just wants to be buds. The dog park is my all-time favorite spot! I love making friends and chasing after my special ball.Since I’m still a puppy, sometimes other dogs or cats get tired of hanging out faster than I do. I’m working on setting boundaries so I can play like a proper pooch. I sometimes jump or play-bite, but with more practice, I’ll be trained up in no time! When I’m not on an outdoor adventure, I can be quite the couch potato. I’m a superb snuggler and love being affectionate toward my hoomans.I’ve been working hard on my Puppy 101 training. I occasionally have accidents, but I’m typically very good about letting you know when I need to go. I feel a little anxious when you leave, but I settle down after a few minutes. I get pretty excited about walk time and can pull on the leash, but practice makes pawfect! All in all, I’m a goofy, sweet, outgoing gal who is sure to put a smile on your face. I think I could adapt to a variety of forever homes and would benefit from more training. Since I’m still in puppy-mode, I would be best with older kids. As long as I get lots of outdoor playtime, socialization, and cuddles, I’ll be a happy gal! So what do you say? I think you should take this little artist home today! My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
