1968 marked year two for the GMs second-generation C/K line of trucks. Originally introduced in 1960, they were redesigned for the 1967 model year with a number of improvements. Engineers realized truck buyers wanted style and comfort, not just single-purpose work trucks. They updated the overall styling of the trucks, added an optional coil spring suspension in the rear, independent suspension in the front and more powerful engine options. GM opted to stay with the C/K moniker, with C designating rear-wheel drive, and K for 4-wheel drive, followed by either 10, 20 or 30

　　which corresponded to half-, three-quarter- and one-ton models.

　　This particular C10 has undergone a complete frame-off restoration. It features a 350 small-block engine backed by a Turbo 400 transmission. Helping put the power to the ground is a 12-bolt posi-traction rear end, and disc brakes up front to help stop. The interior has been reupholstered with all glass replaced, and the body is finished in light green with all new trim. Additionally it has been upgraded with modern amenities that air conditioning and a contemporary stereo with Bluetooth capabilities.
