Izzie's story

　　Please note - we are a 100% foster based rescue, which means we do not have a facility/shelter. You may meet the animal at an upcoming adoption event.

　　Izzie the poodle is a 1 year old poodle who needs an experienced owner who wants to dedicate traiing, time, and love to this wonderful girl!

　　She unfortunately came from a home who did not believe in training and because of that she does need training to be the best pup she can be.

　　Her foster home is currently working on leash training, potty training, crate training, and other basic commands like; sit (she is great at sitting but springs up quickly with excitement), down, in/out, and go to bed.

　　She also has one bite/nip on her record due to resource guarding. During our evaluations and in the foster home, she has shown no resource guarding indicators towards adults and will willingly give you bones, treats and toys.

　　We feel that positive and continued training with resources would be necessary and beneficial, especially if children are in the home.

　　She is a quick learner but definitely needs an experienced, understanding and caring owner who will work with her and help her be a well rounded pup.

　　If you are interested in adopting an adult and it does not specifically need to be a poodle, please look at our other adults as many of them are crate, potty, obedience trained and do not have the kind of training she requires.
