Jade's story

　　Jade has recently returned to EAPL because her owner died suddenly and their are no family members in a position to take her. She is still as described in her original posting, just a year later. Definitely has exposure to a dog in her home, but will still need to be slowly introduced in a new situation. May need a bit of a diet or more exercise. Her owner fed her lots to show how much she loved her. Right now settling in at Evergreen Cat Lodge. It was a sudden move from her home due to circumstances. You're welcome to set up a time to come and meet her.

　　ORIGINAL POSTING: Jade and Cheddar were rescued from a shelter than normally takes in feral cats and rehomes to a barn situation. However every so often they have very sweet cats dropped off. Jade and Cheddar are two of those cats. Both are so social and affectionate. Jade is very loving; very playful, but thoughtful and measured in her personality. Cheddar is a bit more independent, still needs to be taught a few manners, and loves to climb. So curious about everything. They are currently fostered at Evergreen Cat Lodge and either would make a great addition to a household with dogs or children. They are awesome girls, but do not have to go together.
