Labrador Retriever - Mickey - Large - Young - Male - Dog

　　MICKEY is a beautiful lab mix and he is a very lovable and sweet dog. MICKEY is a graduate of PetSmart's obedience school and knows basic commands such as "sit" "lay" "paw" "stay" "take it" and "leave it". MICKEY is also a well behaved indoor dog with good manners! MICKEY is housetrained and does not need to be kenneled. He does not mess up or chew anything in the home. He enjoys chewing on his rawhide bone and playing with his toys. He has a playful spirit. You see, MICKEY once had a loving home, but with a very heavy heart, his owner had to surrender him due to the loss of her home. MICKEY also recently had to say good-bye to his best friend Max, as shown with MICKEY in the video (due to Max getting adopted first). They had grown up together. However, MICKEY is doing well and enjoys the company of us "human" friends. MICKEY absolutely loves affection, being petted and getting belly rubs. He also loves to be scratched around the base of his tail. In return, MICKEY loves to give affection back, by giving you lots and lots of kisses and just about tries to get in your lap! MICKEY is not a hard dog to please. He would just like to have an owner to call his own. Someone who is compassionate, patient and loving. You see MICKEY does get frightened and startled easily by other dogs and just initially to strangers. But, once Mickey gets to know and trusts you, he gives you his WHOLE HEART! For this reason alone, it would be best for MICKEY to be an only dog and in a home without young children. Also, he is not that interested in going out to strange places and is a "homebody" at heart. He enjoys just hanging out with you around the house or in the yard playing and running after a ball or just hanging out as you are gardening! MICKEY will do great in a secure and loving home. In return, MICKEY will give back unconditional love and companionship for life! He is a loyal dog with lots of love to give!!! MICKEY is a male Labrador Retriever mix and is approximately 4.5 years old (June 2013). He is a large dog and weighs about 61 pounds.
