My story

　　All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter.  We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application.  If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website   You may also find us on facebook:  Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue.

　　Sometimes we draw a blank when trying to name our dogs so we just wing it. Meet Thing 1, now known as Lilo.   She is a super cute, sweet and fun puppy.  She might be a shepherd mix, we're not sure but she and her brother needed help so we just helped.  She likes to get in the water so she might be a good lake dog or maybe you can teach her to dock dive.

　　Update from her foster mom:  

　　Hey everybody! My name is Lilo and I am the sweetest mutt you will ever meet! My foster parents have worked with me a lot, so I know how to sit, lay down, stay, and shake. I also have been trained to go lay on my bed when told and to wait until I am given permission to eat! I am house trained and crate trained, I am even leash trained to walk without pulling. I love toys, but I do not destroy them. I love to sit in people’s laps or be held. But watch out! If you pet me I am known to flop over for some belly rubs! And if you catch me sitting without being told… I must be eyeing the food you have. I haven’t even told you about my best friend Stitch! He’s my brother and we were found roaming together. We’d like to stick together so we can continue to entertain each other by day and snuggle in our crate at night!
