Lily Mae - American Canine Graduate's story

　　Lily Mae is a sweet girl! She is about 7yo. We gave her an estimated birthday of 11/4/2011. However, don't let her age fool you, she still loves to go on outings and stay active! She is 45 pounds. Her family left her behind and she now is in search of a new one that can give her the love she deserves! She wants to snuggle up and be close to her people as much as possible and if you give her a bone she will act like a puppy again! She doesn't chew anything in the home, is house broken and does well on a leash and is mellow.

　　Here is a little bit from Lily Mae... My mom says I'm very timid. At first it may take me some time to get used to meeting new people but once I gain your trust you are my person! I will do anything for your love and affection. I mostly like to follow my people around and veg out until it's time to go have fun outdoors! I do well at doggy daycare but when I'm at home I prefer to be the only child, my safe place feels more comfortable this way as I seem to get protective of my family. EAPL and my mom are so proud to say that I know all my commands, don't have accidents, do good in the car and on a leash and am well behaved. I love my crate and feel safe having my own space to go. You see, I was on my own for a long time before reaching Colorado and a lot of people don't understand me but I promise I'll be your best friend if you just give me a chance. I find a lot of things very scary but over time I'm building more and more confidence. I am looking for a quiet home being the only pet and in a home that has a fenced yard and/or always keep me on a leash. She finished her 6-week board and train and would love to find a home of her own! Put in an application today.
