Description

I have for sale a nice lot of antique or vintage collectible items. I am no expert but I will try to describe them to the best of my ability. Please be sure to look at the pictures.

In the FIRST picture -- 2 items for $10 each.

  1. The vintage (1950s?) glass swan on a pedestal I think is Murano. It is clear with a little green swirl in it. It is in perfect condition and measures 5" high, 4" long, and 1.5" deep.

  2. The set of two glass paperweights I believe are from the very early 1900s. I was told that the man who delivered the ice blocks gave them to his customers.

Both are in excellent condition. The larger one is 2.5" square and 2" high, and the smaller one is 2" square and 1.5" high.

In the SECOND picture -- 2 items for $8 each.

  1. The vintage bamboo wood carved and painted tea jar is marked Made in China and HNA, and it is hand signed by the artist on one side of the jar. It is in great condition and measures 4" high and 3.5" in diameter.

  2. The old hammered metal vase I think is tin and copper and it is simply marked China on the bottom. It is 8" high and 4.5" in diameter at its widest.

S0LD: :the copper / bronze (?) metal pot / bucket with handle.

In the THIRD picture -- 2 items.

  1. For $5, the set of three little vintage glasses are marked Genuine Pewter on the bottom and have some circles etched around the sides. The tops are not perfectly round. They are each 3" high and 2.5" in diameter at the top.

  2. For $10, the milk glass Fenton Happiness Bird was made between 1979 and 1982. The design is Violets in the Snow and the bird is marked on the bottom, Hand Painted by R. Doonan. In excellent condition, it measures 7" long and 4.5" high. It even has its sticker, though worn, on the back beneath its tail.

SOLD: the antique cast iron Parthenon Greek temple bookend.

In the FOURTH picture -- 1 item.

  1. For $10, the antique EAPG daisy & button blue glass serving bowl or dish is in excellent condition. Probably Victorian. It measures 9.75" long, 6.5" wide, and 2.75" high. A beautiful deep aqua!

  SOLD: the glass finger lamp.

In the FIFTH picture -- 1 item for $15. This antique china set has three pieces. The first two are matching and are both

made between 1880 and 1918, which is according to when the green stamp on the bottom was used. The mark says Z S & Co. /

Bavaria. The pattern is roses and leaves on an ivory white background. The teapot measures 4.75" high, 7.75" long (from handle to spout), 5" by 5.5" in diameter at the bottom, and 4.25" by 3.75" in diameter at the top. It holds close to four cups. The handled sugar bowl with lid measures about 4.5" in diameter at the bottom, 5.25" wide including the handles, and 4" high including the lid. The "nut" bowl is marked on the bottom in dark blue with a crown / emblem and Silesia, and there is also an artist's mark in red. The pattern is very similar to the others. It measures 6.25" in diameter at the top and is 2" high. All in great condition, they are ready to display or use!

In the SIXTH picture -- a hand painted carved wood toleware coaster set with multi-colored flowers for $8.

This vintage folk art piece from Germany - I do not know the exact age - hangs on the wall. The hanging tray measures almost 10" wide, 8" high, and 2.25" deep. The plate shelf has a cutout on each side to hold three little plates. The six little plates are each almost 3.75" in diameter. The big plate is almost 4.75" in diameter. A lovely old German souvenir from Oberammergau!

In the SEVENTH picture -- 2 items.

  1. For $8, the antique Chinese little famille rose dish is about 5" in diameter. It pictures a butterfly scene. There is a very old mark on the back that looks like a checkerboard diamond with scrolls at the corners (picture available upon request). The little paper tag came with this dish when I bought it years ago and dates it to the nineteenth century during the Ching dynasty, even naming the emperor, Tung Chih..

  2. For $5, the other antique oriental little dish with the red rim is also I believe famille rose and is the same size as well. It pictures a bird scene. It is unmarked, so it could be Chinese or Japanese. I am guessing it is from the early 1900s.
