Maltese - Monty - Small - Young - Male - Dog

　　Check-out Monty! He was rescued from an LA-area shelter in need of a grooming. He was pretty matted and had to be shaved down. I included his pre-haircut photo so you can see what his hair will look like once it grows out again. Monty is a Maltese. He's about a year and a half old. He's such a sweet guy. Loves affection and just loves to sit calmly in your lap. He is good with other dogs, though he does tend to bark at the bigger dogs. He would be good in a home with other smaller dogs, though he would be perfectly fine alone too. Loves to be held. Monty is amazing in the car (very calm) and like his short walks. Really a sweet boy. Independent too. He can keep himself entertained so you don't have to tend to him constantly. He gets a little excited when he plays and may nip, so no young children. A low-key place where he gets lots of snuggles would be ideal! Come meet him this weekend! Adoptions are held every SATURDAY at the Petco on La Brea & 2nd (behind the Ralph's on 3rd), from 1-4 pm, & every SUNDAY at the Healthy Spot in Marina Del Rey, 4718 Lincoln Blvd., from 1 to 5.
