My story

　　Hi, I'm Snoopy! I'm a sweet and happy boy, who loves to take long walks and snuggle with my humans. I was found as a stray, so no knows much about my past. My foster mom thinks I'm around 6 years old and the vet says I'm healthy, aside from a tick-borne illness.  And did I mention how pretty my teeth are? I also have a beautiful full long tail!  Being a typical Britt, I still have a lot of energy, but I can easily be a couch potato.  I LOVE people, including kids, and get along well with other dogs.  Cats not so much. I just want to chase them. I enjoy playing with toys and my foster sister.  I'm a well adjusted boy and I'm housebroken.  If you're looking for lots of cuddles, smiles and laughter, then I'm the boy for you!

　　Snoopy is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered.  He has completed an initial treatment for the tick-borne illness but needs to be monitored for symptoms.  He does have vet anxiety, which is easily managed with medication before he goes to the vet. Otherwise, he's very easy-going.  He's used to being allowed on furniture, including the bed, but will also sleep on his dog bed.  He weighs about 45 pounds and does pulls on the leash, so he needs someone who can continue to work with him on that.  Snoopy also needs to work on not barking at other dogs on walks.  He is a bit of a counter surfer, so it's best to keep items out of reach.  He would love a fenced-in yard and has not made any attempts to jump a 3' fence.
