My story
Hey! Sammie here. I am a super sweet young high energy girl looking for an active family to call my own. I love to chase balls, chew squeaky toys and to play with other dogs. I get excited when I see cats thru the window, but I have not been close to one. I am a life-of-the-party kinda gal. I am a 58 lb spayed, black and white 1-year old French Brittany/Pointer female. I am microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventive. Housebroken. I was adopted as a puppy from the OKC Shelter but surrendered due to my owner living in an apartment. I am being fostered with three senior canines. I am crate trained, dog and people friendly, housebroken and like car rides. I require a 4- 6 physical fence. I still need work with jumping up on people and I still pull when walking on a leash. I am very affectionate, energetic and therefore requires an experienced owner. I will make a great addition to an active family looking for a dedicated fun-loving friend and would benefit from having a young canine companion. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit to complete an adoption application. Contact Melinde Waddle at [email protected] and/or Nancy Walker at [email protected] for more information after you have filled out the application. The adoption fee to adopt Sammie in OK is $325 to offset her vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets in need. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.
