Quarterhorse - River - Medium - Adult - Male - Horse

　　River is a gray Quarab gelding who displays the refined qualities of the Arabian and many of the conformation attributes of the Quarter Horse. Some of River's equine social skills need a little polishing because he spent most of his life living alone in his pasture. Because of his history, he can be quite dominant with pasture pals. River is currently learning Parelli Natural Horsemanship which is improving his ground manners around people. That said, he loves to be groomed! River was briefly ridden a long time ago. Parelli training is helping him to rebuild confidence and establish respect both on the ground and under saddle. River is coming along well with his ground studies and is continuing along his Parelli path toward becoming a reliable riding horse. River is primarily a Left-brain Extrovert who hopes to find a safe, loving home with a savvy Parelli Level-3 person. Potential adopters who are proficient in other natural-horsemanship disciplines are also encouraged to apply for adoption by demonstrating their horse-handling skills.
