My story

　　Meet Riverwalker ❤️ our 9 mos old Lab Mix puppy who is approx. 60lbs and formerly lived his life on a chain, covered in mange, infested with fleas and starving.   He is being fostered at a doggy daycare and plays with many dog friends daily.  This boy is a true miracle with a life changing rescue story.  He is a loving and resilient boy that adores children and spending time in the play yard with other fun dogs to romp around with.  He loves to carry balls and other toys around in his mouth in a true demonstration of enjoying his new freedom and life off that horrible chain and existence.  Because of his past he does need to be separated from other dogs when fed or when he has high reward treats.  He's still working on his jumping up on people, so we recommend children in the household be over 10 yrs old. He is food motivated and very smart.  We know that with a little extra training this will be an easy fix with the jumping.  He will bark at strangers and is a little shy at first meeting new people, but warms up quickly.  If adopted within an hour radius of the Nashville, TN  area, he will come with a free training lesson for his new family. Riverwalker is crate trained and housebroken.  He loves cuddles and wants to be a true part of the family.  He is healthy and happy and fully vetted, microchipped and neutered.  If you are interested in this handsome Lab mix please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We transport northward every weekend.
