Sassy's story
Sassy is a super fun, totally playful 25-lb terrier mix (we suspect Border Terrier). At the age of 9, she was brought to a local SPCA when her owner could no longer take care of her. Kennel attendants noted that she was well-liked in the shelter and had always kept her kennel clean. They could not understand why she had been overlooked for three months, and we certainly cant either! We welcomed her to Senior Dog Haven & Hospice just in time for Christmas 2018.
Her current foster home has two resident dogs, although Sassy should go to a home as the only pet. She loves to chase, and most cats and dogs cant appreciate her zest for life! She is housebroken, loves to play, loves walking, exploring, and running in a fenced in yard. She is a very fun dog with LOTS of pep in her step (as you may see from her wind sprints!). Her name suits her, and her ideal home will maintain boundaries with Sassy to let her know that she is safe and loved.
