My story
My name is Gus and Im a handsome, long-legged black and white French Brittany. Im 12 years old but youd never know it! Sadly, my parents got divorced and neither one of them could take me, so they gave me to the nice folks at NBRAN. I have a little anxiety when left alone, nothing major, but I really would love to have my people home with me. I like both my foster mom and dad, but I have to say I am partial to my foster dad. I follow him everywhere, even into the bathroom! I am good on a leash and walk at a nice pace. I had a cat in my last home, so I guess Im good with cats. I get along great with my foster siblings, two beagles and a Brittany. I am a very good boy. I am house trained, and I wont jump into your bed or on your furniture. I will bark a little if I see something interesting out the window though. I am very healthy, neutered, up to date on all my shots and heartworm negative! I am ready for my next forever home! If you are interested in me, I would love to be your forever buddy. Please love me!!! I love my chew bones, to be next to my family and I love to run zoomies sometimes. Please consider me to be your forever baby boy. You wont regret it. From Foster Mom: Gus is not on any meds. He doesnt need to be crated, for he is really a sweet boy. He wants to be by you at all times. He just wants to be with his person. He will look up at you adoringly. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit to complete an adoption application. Contact Melinde Waddle at [email protected] and/or Nancy Walker at [email protected] for more information after you have filled out the application. The adoption fee to adopt Gus in Dallas, TX is $200 to offset his vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets in need. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles. Medical Note: Gus has a grade 3 heart murmur. We had a workup 12/09/19 and we are told nothing but a murmur. X-Rays look good, nothing enlarged or troublesome and he is even going to get his teeth done. He can jump up in a SUV and is one sweet boy and will live as a normal Senior. No meds. From CoordinatorGus will do best with a family that someone is home most the time and has other 4 legged siblings. He is one sweet boy. Needs his fenced yard. He is in good shape for a 12 yr old.
