　　This is a Roos Mfg Co Chest made prior to Ed Roos leaving the family business and opening the famous Roos Chest Co. In Chicago in 1918. The Roos Family started business in 1871 so the chest dates somewhere between 1871 and 1917. The Roos Mfg Co used a Rooster in their logo and Ed Roos used a tree in his later logos.
