Summary:

This is a newly created role requiring a strategic and engaging professional to lead, manage and deliver growth to a complex logistics and warehousing service within a highly regulated environment. You will need to ensure the efficient storage and distribution of cold chain products, embrace technology and implement change whilst driving commercial outcomes by creating a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of a logistics and warehouse strategy that optimises stock levels and performance while minimising costs.Establish policies and SOPs for best practice service delivery.Lead on the integration of supporting technology for WMS and automation.Deliver a logistics and transport service where all service levels are met, routes are optimised and deliveries comply with industry standards and regulationsLead and manage a culture of health and safety compliance.Coach and develop others to drive high levels of engagement and deliver the best results.Create collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:

Experienced in the implementation of WMS and other relevant technology solutions.Extensive experience in leading warehousing and logistics functions in a regulated sector i.e. food or pharmaAble to design and implement strategies aligned with business objectives.Accomplished commercial acumen for the purposes of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.Proven experience in leading and developing teams.Experience of working in a sector where stringent compliance is necessary.Processing Your Data
