Your new companyHays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established & growing client for a permanent Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to join their team with the potential to grow into a Director of Finance position. This exciting opportunity offers a salary of GBP60,000 – GBP80,000 depending on experience and is based working in the office in Dunfermline.Your new roleReporting in to the Director of Finance and working as part of the Senior Finance team. You will complete a varied work load including traditional accounting alongside operational & strategic input. You will complete monthly management accounting, variance analysis, financial accounting, commercial accounting and financial analysis. You will complete commercial analysis of business options/opportunities, new product evaluation, capital expenditure investigation and budgeting & forecasting. You will finance business partner with internal & external stakeholders & heads of multiple departments and be involved in various process & system improvement projects.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA /CIMA / ICAS etc.) with a strong working history within industry, (ideally within a manufacturing/ engineering/construction company, however this is not essential) who is looking for career progression and a route to Director of Finance. You will have strong experience within management accounting including variance analysis and financial analysis. You will be a commercial individual with experience in operational & strategic input, excellent IT skills and strong finance business partnering experience.
